What a boring day. There was nothing to do here at work, so I started surfing and doing some research about the game I've been playing almost every night (yeah, it's official, hubby and I are addicted to WoW) to improve my skills. I already have 4 characters in the game, lol.

Well, about the Buffy references... Last week hubby and I (I mean, his Draenei Warrior and my Night Elf Rogue) were wandering through a region called Hillsbrad Foothills when we suddenly found a NPC (NPC is a non-player character, created by the game server) named Darla Harris. Even if she doesn't seem like Darla at all with her red hair (see the cap here), I was amused to no end with her name AND last name. She was wearing some kind of weird glasses and holding a lantern (???).

This week I started playing more with my Human Warlock and I decided to look for my warlock trainer. And I was really surprised to find out that my trainer is called Drusilla La Salle!!! And she really looks and dresses like Dru!!! Take a look here. Oh, that was really funny!!!

There's also a Willow reference HERE in the game and the NPC is some kind of witch. But she is, ahemmmm, nothing like our Willow. Dark Willow maybe?

And now, during my research, I found a site about pop-culture references on WoW and there's one about Buffy that says:

[The Seal of Danzalar] which drops in Serpentshrine Cavern - The phrase "From beneath you, it devours" comes from a reference the last season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer; it translates to the gateway to the Sunnydale Hellmouth. The items name is a play on "The Seal of Danzalthar", which is the name of the seal that covers the Sunnydale Hellmouth.

Now I will head to this place to get this seal, that's for sure, lol!!! This game is getting better and better ;-).

Oh, for more funny references on WoW, including many about Star Wars, click here

And about the layouts I have to post... Errrrr, I promise I will post them... as soon as the game lets me, lol.
