No internet at work anymore

I have been absent from here these last days. But, it's not my fault. The fact is since last Friday the company where I work decided to take some energetic measures and they blocked the Internet for all its workers in the country (I work at a national public bank). I can access only the intranet now. So now I can't surf through my flist, I can't post at livejournal and I can't even read my e-mails from Yahoo, Gmail and so on. The worst thing is that I need Internet to do some of my job, like when I need to do researches about programming, databases and related stuff. Yeah, that sucks big time.

Don't know if this situation will be permanent (it seems it will), so by now I can access Internet just when I get home. And sometimes I don't have much time to do it at home either (I have to go to gym on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). Exceptionally today I'm home because I'm sick (I got a damn flu). And in the weekends I usually go out with nighttechno or go to his apartment. Apparently you will not see me here so often then.

But I am a rebel, you know, I can't stop reading fics. So I have been searching for some fics (I noticed some excellents ones these days around here) and I have been saving them to my pendrive. So, when I have nothing to do at work, at least I will keep reading fics. I will have to wait to leave feedback when I get home, but at least they can't take the porn from me.

Engagement

Stopping with the whining, I have something important to say... Yesterday we had our Valetine's Day here (we call it Lovers Days) and nighttechno took me to a restaurant to have a delicious dinner. There were even a violinist and a keyboardist playing love songs. Very romantic.

After we finished the dinner, he showed me a gorgeous ring and then HE PROPOSED ME!!! And I said YES!!! Now my bf is my fiance *squeeeeee* and I am so stupidly happy!!! He is the best man who could have appeared in my life and I am so proud to have him by my side. We have plans to get married next year and I'm so scarred because there's so much to plan, my life will change and I am so insecure (kinda fear what is new). But he is with me and I know we belong to each other *big smile*.
