My thoughts about last night episodes ;-).
Smallville - 5.05 - Thirst
Well, in spite of thelame weird main plot with vampirism infection by those damn meteor rocks, the episode had some highlights. For instance, Professor Fine and Lex at the college, the confrontation between Professor Fine and Lex at the Luthor's mansion, Professor Fine and the spaceship love and the subsequent stalker guy killing. Oh, do you see a pattern here? *chuckles*
I loved Lex's expression when Fine said "never start a game you can’t win" and then left. And Fine playing pool!!! So Spike-like *grins*. If we had more scenes between Lex and ProfessorBrainiac Fine, they would steal the show completely. Really. *guh*
Talking about the rest, those BtVS references made me nostalgic and "there's no such things as vampires" delivered by JM made me giggle *g*. Clark wearing a Zorro costume, liking the cape, but not liking the mask was so cool!!! I liked that Chloe finally got a job at the Daily Planet ("Up, up, and away"), but if I didn't know about Carrie Fisher being a special guest star, I wouldn't recognize her as the chief editor. Yeah, even Princess Leia ages.
About the sorority of vampires, I think it's kinda hard to hide a secret about being a vampire if you eat your boyfriends for breakfast on a regular basis. And, oh my, amnesia again? Lana must have a serious brain damage at this point, hehe.
Supernatural - 1.05 - Bloody Mary
The episode starts with a "truth or dare" game and a girl is dared to say "Bloody Mary" three times in front of a mirror. Second the legend, when someone does that, a person dies a horrible death (not necessarily who said the words) caused by a ghastly woman from beyond the grave. So a person dies of a stroke under unconventional circumstances in front of a mirror and Dean and Sam arrives in town to investigate what is happening.
Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the instant I saw that Bloody Mary in the mirrors, she reminded me "The Ring", especially in the end, when she crawled out the mirror. OMG, that freaked me out.
The funny parts usually revolves around Dean, hehehe. The line "do I look like Paris Hilton?" from Dean when Sam was testing the night vision videocamera on him made me laugh so hard. And he pretending to be the shop owner's son to the cops was priceless. Dean is the best, hahaha.
About Sam, it must be so hard feeling guilt about Jessica's death. I couldn't have guessed he had dreams about her death even before that happened. Poor boy *pets him*. And Sam seeing his dead girlfriend in the end was creepy *shivers*.
