Supernatural - 2.05 and 2.06

Thanks to my bf, finally I managed to catch up with all the Supernatural episodes of this season. So, check out my thoughts about the last two episodes...


Supernatural - 2.05 - Simon Said
- Firstly, I didn't get the reference. Who is Simon?
- Jo keeps flirting with Dean, but he has been keeping a safe distance from her, hehe.
- Sam and Dean met two twin brothers (Andrew and Anson) with special powers (a kind of Jedi mind control). Anson is corrupted by the demon (yeah, THAT demon) and goes on a killing spree. Andrew is good, except for using his power to get some free coffee here and other small advantages there.
- For a while I thought Sammy would save doctor Jennings. Seeing him being hit by that bus was so disturbing as seeing him shooting the sporting goods store owner and then his own head with that shotgun *shivers*.
- Sam having those visions reminded me of Doyle and Cordelia from Angel.
- Talking about Angel, Ben Edlund is one of the Supernatural writers (he wrote this episode) and he was one of the writers of Angel.
- The demon wants to use Sam and other special people like Andrew and Anson as serial killers. So, is that his master plan?
- Dean was hilarious while controled by Andrew. He gave the Impala to him!!! And with a big smile on his face!!! Can you believe that?
- At least, Sam was imune to the mind control power. What a relief.
- That woman covering herself in gasoline and setting herself on fire was creepy.
- By the way, some of Sam's visions are coming with a significant delay. Tell that carbonized woman.
- That Anson/Webber guy was going to use his power to rape Tracy and them kill her. What a sick pervert!!!
- So, the house fire isn't a trustworthy pattern to help to find the children with special powers. Oh boy, what a hard job that's going to be.
- Ellen wants to help the boys against the demon. She said a war is coming. Things gonna get ugly then...

- Gahhhhhhhhhhh, no the Impala!!! What did you do, Dean?


Dean: He full-on Obi-Wan'd me. It's mind control, man.

- Bwuauauauauaua, I love Star Wars references :)))))))))))))))).


Andy: Why are you following me?
Sam: Well, we're lawyers. See, a relative of yours has passed...
Andy: Tell the truth!
Sam: That's what I...
Dean: (deadpan) We hunt demons.
Andy: What?
Dean: Demons, spirits, things your worst nightmares wouldn't even touch. Sam here, this is my brother...
Sam: Dean, shut up!
Dean: (through gritted teeth) I'm trying! He's psychic. Kinda like you, well not really like you, but see, he thinks you're a murderer, and he's afraid that he's gonna become one himself, cause you're all part of something that's terrible, and I hope to hell that he's wrong, but I'm starting to get a little scared that he might be right.

- ROTFLMAO!!! Oh Dean, shup you sweet mouth up!!!


Supernatural - 2.06 - No Exit
- That black oil thing was just gross *ewwwww*. And so was that scalp with the tuft of blonde hair.
- If I was that Teresa girl, at the first sign of my roof cracking, I certainly would run away from the building.
- So, the ghost of the serial killer had a thing for petite blondies. Hmmm, even the fake ones? *wonders*
- I didn't think about Jo being a researcher-type-of-girl. It's kinda surprised me, cos I thought Ash was the researcher and she was the poker cheater, hehe.
- Well, Jo was very clever talking to the landlord about getting that apartment. And she said Dean was her boyfriend *g*. But then she wasn't very careful going to find the killer by herself being his type and at all.
- That Jo's knife is very handy to cut perv demons.
- Oh, so the demon/ghost of the killer will be forever kept in the sewer surrounded by salt. That's really hell.
- Jo is nice, but I hope she doesn't join the brothers a lot in their adventures. I enjoy the interaction between the brothers without an outsider around better. I'm okay with she helping them sometimes, but I hope not in every single episode, please.
- Hmmmm, so John was the responsible for the death of Ellen's husband. Now I understand Ellen not wanting her daughter hanging out with the Winchester brothers.

Simon is a reference to a childhood game where one kid is 'Simon' and the rest of the kids listen to what Simon says. Simon will say something like 'Simon says: Stand on your left foot and hop like a rabbit' and everyone has to do what 'Simon says' if they say 'Simon says' before the dare. Simon eliminates kids by pulling a quick one like saying 'Scratch your head'without the 'Simon says' in front of the dare.

I know it's a weird game, but then kids are weird. LOL Hope that helps. :-)

Ahhhh, I got it. It must be the same game we call "the master commands" here. It has basically the same rules. Thanks for the explanation ;-).

O problema do episódio foi que o foco ficou muito em cima daquela garota, a Jo. Me parece que um dos atores não pôde gravar muito (li que o Jared tinha feito uma cirurgia na mão) e daí a interação entre os irmãos ficou meio comprometida.

Você sabe se Supernatural também vai ter hiatus?
