And now this LJ/SixAppart mess hit the news. Take a look at THIS.

They prefer to talk to press instead of their customers (aka us). The "best" quote:

Okay the current suggestion making the rounds that we all move to GreatestJournal is starting to have more appeal all the time.

At least they have been apologizing and fixing all the mess they did. But I still have my account at GreatestJournal, just in case.

What I am left to wonder is how genuine is the apology? Was it offered because they realize that they were wrong? Or was it offerred because they're were getting ugly press and looked bad? Anyone can apologize when they get CAUGHT having done something wrong or in this case stupid.

If they had talked to US and apologized before the press release, I may have been more accepting of it.

It's just too late and too little to make me feel better now.
