Ok, reposting this comment here because I'm an idiot and I suspecct there's more chance of you seeing it here.
I'm trying to change my layout there, using your codes to help me (with credit of course, hope that's ok). Everyone says that if you're using S1 you can't have your usericons visible but I've seen you use S1 Generator for LJ with usericons like here (http://community.livejournal.com/spring_spangel/51420.html). HOW DO YOU DO THAT!?! *is getting very frustrated*
I'm trying it out here (http://felistryout.greatestjournal.com/). As you can see I'm using the Soulmates background still but I might change that to a colour more fitting the header.
I don't know how you do all this stuff. I'd go insane. lol
Oh, S1 Generator style has no userpics in the entries by default. The reason my Spangel layout has userpics is due the fact that I'm using a community account for the working preview. And I took a look at the S2 styles at GJ and I didn't see any of those styles I used to make S2 layouts for LJ. Sorry, sweetie.
BUT, someone just posted this (http://www.greatestjournal.com/users/musycal_test/1487.html) so now I'm looking at a lot more options. *rubs hands together*
You really don't mind me using your codes as a base? Even if I can read codes to some extent I would never be able to write them from scratch. But if I can use your codes as base and then just change what I'd like I can maybe make it look decent. Biggest problem I've runned into is shifting things around to make them fit a different size header and it usually works out in the end. I will of course credit you.
Isn't is just a gorgeous header? It makes me weak in the knees. bittersweet_art has already made me another fabulous one for my LJ account or I would be very tempted to use this one.
