Still about TV shows:
- I'm kinda behind on Lost (didn't get the chance to watch the last two episodes), so no review yet. I will try to watch it tonight, before taking my bf to the bus station (he's going to spend Easter holiday in Cascavel, with his family).
- I started watching Bones season 2 on Fox. I'm not in the mood to write about the first two episodes, but it seems the season will be good. Well, let's watch to see if I'm right. The only thing I'm going to say: I didn't like Camille, the Booth and Brennan new boss. She is arrogant and annoying.
- One more week without Supernatural. How sad is that? *sobs*

BtVS Episode 8.01: The Long Way Home Part 1
- Firstly, it was too short. When I started getting excited, it was over.
- We have now around 1800 slayers all over the world. And they have powerful guns and dress in a military sort of way when in action. Kinda killed the essence of the slayer myth, but...
- The story starts with a squad of slayers leaded by Buffy crashing into an old church. They fight some demons who had a strange symbol tattooed in their chests. Maybe there's something bigger behind all of it.
- Xander is now all cool high-tech guy and giving orders like some sort of Command Central boss. Such an upgrade he got, but he is nothing like the Xander from the TV.
- By the way, the Command Central is in a castle, in Scotland.
- Buffy mentioned her two other replicas. One of them has been dating the Immortal guy. And Andrew has something to do with this arrangement *rolls eyes*. Particularly, I didn't like the three Buffies thing.
- I didn't like the way Buffy implicitly mentioned Spike with that line about missing the sex (well it was about him, right?). So, is the sex the only thing worth mentioning? And his other qualities?
- Dawn is a whining giant. The giant thing has to do with some Dawn's boyfriend and her first time (with the said guy), apparently. Kinda traumatic, but then it's a Summers pattern.
- Some guys from from the U.S. army (or something like that) aren't happy with the "terrorist" female squad. It doesn't sound good for Buffy and the others.
- Woa, while the military guys are searching for bodies into the crater at Sunnydale, they find Amy, the witch down there. She is going to cause trouble, that's for sure. And who the hell is her boyfriend? My guess would be Rack.
- This issue was nice, but it could be better.

I have to say I don't mind about Buffy's love life (as long as she stays very far away from the vamps), but I'm amused with all the fuss about it. It's too early to know if Joss will really give a chance to a Buffy/Xander relationship, but if a Buffy's wet dream about Xander can piss so many fans off, I can imagine what would happen if Joss really put those two together *blinks blinks*. On the other hand, it seems that some people on Whedonesque are on a Buffy/Xander forever love wave. How unexpected is that?
- And everybody here at my job won chocolate from a very cool co-worker (he does that every single year, as I was told)!!! I won't be able to resist the chocolate for too long *eyes chocolate over the desk*.

I'll have to go check out the thread but anyone into B/X has to have been waiting a long time to have some crumbs tossed their way. If I were them I'd be celebrating too.

You know, I'm super okay with the possibility of a B/X relationship. IMO, they so deserve each other, hehe. And may they live together happily forever and very far away from Spike and Angel *g*.

About the sex comment I read on another site that the artist has said that he knows that line wasn't suppose to be about Spike, just that she missed sex in general. (Though apparently a lot of Bangels are mad for some reason.)
I'm all for the Xander/Buffy stuff happening. Joss has said that he wanted them together for awhile. I'm a little surprised to see such support for it though. As long as it keeps her away from the boys I'm all for it. Have them more on too. cough*To each other*cough

Indeed, the sex comment wasn't explicit about Spike, but it felt like it was, you know. According what we know, he was the last person Buffy made great sex with (after all, if the Immortal was dating a clone, the real Buffy didn't have sex with him *sighs*). But, even if her line was about sex in general, it was kinda cold and selfish all the same, IMO. And, are Bangels mad about the sex thing? I didn't know, lol!!!
About Buffy/Xander, I am really surprised with the possibility of this relationship having a chance, but I am not upset about it. I even think they deserve each other and should get married and have children, lol!!! But if Joss is going to keep his usual ship treatment, we know it will sink eventually. And, like you said, if Xander can keep Buffy away from the vamps, so B/X is very welcome ;-).

Which is why I'm not too fond of Buffy, she can be very cold and self-centered. Makes you wonder if she wants Xander just because he's the only man there. Yeah, it seems that they are mad that Buffy wants *that* sex back.
I mainly see Buffy ending up alone as I have never liked any of her relationships or how she acts during them. With Xander I think a good way to end it would be the many issues becoming too much for them. Would he ever be ready to commit? Would she be willing to actually work through the problems and face the issues? I do think that they deserve each other though that is not saying much since they are my least favorite characters.
Interesting note: I've heard on some forums the bangels/spuffies are banding together against Bander while X/B fans are coming out of the wood work.

Adorei os comentários a respeito da nova revista de Buffy escrita pelo Joss, pois li alguns releases a respeito, mas ainda não achei onde comprar por aqui (alguma dica??). Parece que Buffy mudou muito em relação a Buffy da série de TV, e seria interessante ver um encontro entre essa nova Buffy e Angel e Spike. Aliás, vc sabe se Joss está planejando um HQ deles também? Acredito que se os dois sobreviveram após fade Away, então eles devem estar muito unidos, ah, como adoraria ver Buffy levar um grnade fora dos dois!!*ah, vã esperança!!*
Não consigo assistir Bones pelo simples fato que começo a lembrar de Angel, e choramingar pelos cantos... sério!

O pessoal tem comentando mesmo que nos comics a série ficou um pouco diferente, mas isso foi feito porque houve a necessidade da série se adequar ao formato e ao público de quadrinhos, portando algumas mudanças foram necessárias. E eu li sim que estão com planos de fazer uma Season 6 de Angel em quadrinhos. Well, seria melhor um filme ou série de TV, mas a gente fica com o que dá, né? Outra coisa que devo mencionar é que dificilmente Angel e Spike irão aparecer nos comics de Buffy e isso também se aplica a Buffy e a Scooby gang aparecendo nos comics de AtS. Isso porque as editoras (e portanto, os direitos de publicação) são de empresas diferentes. A Dark Horse (http://www.darkhorse.com/) tem os direitos de BtVS e a IDW (http://www.idwpublishing.com/) tem os direitos de AtS (e Spike é considerado personagem de AtS depois que entrou na Season 5 de AtS). Mas Joss disse que faria alguma menção aos vampiros, mas que não poderia usá-los deliberadamente nos comics de BtVS. E como você, eu sonho com a possibilidade da Buffy levar um fora dos vamps e eles ficarem juntos, hehe. Ainda bem que sonhar ainda não custa nada ;-).
E que bom que você comprou um vídeo-cassete!!! Então tá podendo curtir os vamps finalmente, né? Espero que eles a inspirem pra escrever umas fics ;-).

To adorando assistir às fitas, e totalmente inspirada para escrever fics desses dois! Só estou fazendo umas pesquisas sobre alguns personagens primeiro, pra avançar com "Pelo amor de Spike" (ou minha versão slash-friendly da sexta temporada!!)...

Assistir esses dois é um deleite. Cada vez que assisto, capto mais sinais slash entre eles. Afe, como sinto falta deles :-(. Só espero que nos comics de AtS Season 6 tenha alguma interação bacana entre eles.
